Soooo, if you’ve been following oven+apron, you may have noticed that there hasn’t been a new post/recipe since October 2015.
This blog had been my main creative outlet for a long time, back when I was working for establishments that didn’t really allow me to be super creative or to make the kinds of things I wanted to (like those pistachio frangipane + nectarine tarts you see up there!). The good news is, luckily for me, I’ve been working for a while now at a place that has given me total creative freedom and the ability to make all the fancy, pretty, tasty things I can dream up.
The bad news is, this also means that I don’t know if or when I will post anything new to oven+apron. It was a ton of fun (and a bit of work, obvs) to keep up regular posting and recipe development but the blog has definitely been on the back burner for a few years.
To those of you who are new to oven+apron, I definitely invite you to check out the past recipes and posts I’ve shared, try out whatever looks tasty to you, and feel free to comment because I will still reply to any questions! If you’re not sure where to start, you can scroll down to the pull-down menu at the bottom of the home page and browse the site’s recipe categories, or check out some of my favorite oven+apron recipes here!
I’m still very much active on Instagram (mostly posting my current work-related treats and other life shenanigans), and you can check back here in the future and perhaps there will eventually be another recipe added to the blog.
